Attendees of the 2018 OR Business Management Conference can earn 15 continuing education contact hours in keynote presentations and breakout sessions over the three days in San Antonio. Attendees of only the Pre-Conference Workshop can earn 3 continuing education contact hours.

Full 2018 conference attendees (Pre-Conference Workshop + Conference) can earn 18 continuing education contact hours.

Access Intelligence is approved as a provider of continuing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider #15831.

AEU Credits

2018 attendees can earn up to 18.75 AEU credits!

This program is approved for 18.75 hours of AEU credits by BASC Provider #1301.

CSSM Credits

Sessions at the OR Business Management Conference are also approved for your CSSM® eligibility
requirements through the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI).

The Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) certification program is for perioperative leaders interested in improving and validating their managerial knowledge and skills so as to advance the performance of their surgical services department.

CSSM certification validates the achievement of the baccalaureate-prepared manager who demonstrates current proficiency as an administrator in the perioperative (pre-, intra-, and postoperative) setting.

CCI delivers the CSSM exam to recognize the important role managers have in directing staff, programs and budgets in delivering safe patient care. The purpose of the CSSM exam is to provide recognition for the important and distinct role of surgical services managers.
